Tabitha Bouldin has become one of my favorite authors. I saw that she has a new Series out and I was so excited to read this book! Love Like No Other by Tabitha Bouldin is Book 1 in the Suamalie Islands series. 

Alicia Gray grew up in foster homes after her Mother abandoned her. She never felt that she would find her place in the world. She is now determined to prove to others that she will succeed as a Doctor. She is a positive person and loves living on Suamalie Island. She is quite surprised when she meets a "grumpy" person on Suamalie Island. Colin Tremblay is back on Suamalie Island after his time with the Army ended. His brother stole from his clinic and he was dishonorably from the Army where he was a Medic. He hasn't been able to find a steady job since returning to the Island. He now finds himself working alongside Alicia "Miss Sunshine" Gray during Church Summer Camp. Will "Miss Sunshine" and "Mr. Grumpy" be able to work together for the Summer? Will there be a romance brewing between Alicia and Colin? 

WOW, another GREAT Book by Tabitha Bouldin!   I see so much of myself in Alicia. I tend to be a "People Pleaser", not being able to say NO to others, just as Alicia is. I admire her determination to prove to others that she is WORTHY! I really felt bad for Colin that he has struggled since being dishonorably discharged from the Army. Alicia is such a Cheerful Person and Colin is a Grumpy person, but I LOVE that they both connected and gave hope to one another. The story is one of second chances, trust, and faith. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Contemporary Suspense! FANTASTIC BOOK!

When it came time to write my Suamalie Island book, I knew it was time for me to head back to the place I love best. It was time to bring back the cowboys. Colin might not be a cowboy in his own mind, after all, he left the ranch and worked for years as an Army medic and wants nothing more than to help people as a way to make up for not being able to save his brother when he needed it most. Alicia, the island’s resident mobile doctor, feels the same way. You would think that these two would manage to get along since they both want the same thing. Not so. They disagreed on almost everything. From a personality perspective, they couldn’t be more different. Alicia is sunshine and rainbows to Colin’s storm clouds. The one thing they can agree on is helping others, and when things get tough, Colin is the one person who Alicia finds she can trust to follow through and not back down from the hard aspects like throws their way. And threaded through it all is Colin’s cowboy past and the heart that carried him across the battlefield and back to the islands he’s always called home.
