I really enjoy Christian Contemporary Romance and I also LOVE reading books that are part of a series. Freedom in Friday Harbro by Annee Jones is Book 7 in the Clean Slate Series. The series is written by various authors. I have read other books in the series and I was excited to read this book.

Summer Connelly is a recently divorced Marketing Specialist in Seattle. She was recently assigned to be the Supervisor of the Construction of the Company's 4th of July Float. She is excited about this task as she gets to head to Friday Harbor, WA, a small escape from life in Seattle and she also gets to prove to her Boss that she has great leadership skills. Ace Lockhart owns a Portland Contracting Company. He gets the news his father's health is failing and Ace feels he needs to be with his Dad. Ace heads to Friday Harbor to make sure his Dad isn't alone. Summer and Ace have a chance meeting and maybe just in time. Summer is having trouble with the Construction Crew and she feels the float won't be done in time. Ace steps in and offers his help. Summer and Ace are spending lots of time together and are also noticing their feelings for one another are growing. Will the Float be done in time? Will Ace's father be OK? Will there be "FIREWORKS" between Ace and Summer?

WOW, there is so much packed into this short, 130 pages, book. I really like that both Summer and Ace recognize their struggles in life and need to take a break. I did notice the Faith-based parts of this book and I did enjoy that Faith was mentioned in the book. I Highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Romance books. WONDERFUL BOOK!
