I am a huge fan of LOVE Inspired Suspense novels. The books are written by various authors and are short and easy to read. Snowbound Escape by Dana Mentink is Book 8 in the Pacific Northwest K-9 Unit series. I have not read any of the other books in this particular series, but I am a FAN of Dana Mentink books. 

Mara Gilmore has been wrongly accused of a Double Homicide and has been in hiding. Mara is a Crime Tech and her collegue Officer Tanner Ford and his K-9 partner, Britta, have been trying to track her down for months. They finally find her and now they are trying to rescue her from the real Killer, but a Snowstorm is hindering their efforts to get to safety. Will Mara, Tanner and Britta be able to get to safety from the Killer and from the Blizzard? Will there be a romance between Mara and Tanner? 

WOW, I love how much action and suspense is packed into this short read! I LOVE Tanner's confidence that Mara is innocent and does everything he can to track her down. Mara is a great character who has a great career and then is wrongly accused of Murder and goes on the run. Britta the K-9 is so adorable and is a hard worker. So many twists and turns in this storyline and I read it within 3hrs! The book is one of Forgiveness and God's plan is greater then our plan. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys Suspense, Romance and Faith based books! GREAT BOOK!

What a challenge to write the eighth book in this fabulous Pacific Northwest K-9 Unit series! Writing a continuity (linked books with an overarching mystery) with seven other authors requires us to work closely together which is a rare blessing in this solitary business. There were so many good conversations, emails and texts that went into the construction of this series. Since wilderness escape novels are my favorite, it was great fun to write Tanner, Mara and Boxer Britta’s dramatic survival story. I hope you enjoy the book and the entire series as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you!
