Christian Suspense with Romance books are a favorite genre of mine. Lethal Standoff by DiAnn Mills is the latest in this genre that I have read. DiAnn Mills is a new to me author as I have never read one of her books, so I was excited to read this book! 

I will say that it took me a few pages to get the storyline and begin enjoying the book. The main characters of the book are Carrington Reed, who is a Hostage Negotiator and Levi Ehlrich who is an Investigative Reporter. Carrington is called to the scene of the Kendrick Brothers home in South Texas. Carrington and Levi are working together to try to get the Kendrick Brothers info about their father's murder as a negotation tactic to releasing their hostages. Carrington and Levi find themselves drawn to one another as they continue to work on this case. Carrington and Levi dig deep to find the answers that the brothers want and find some interesting facts about family. The twists and turns in the storyline really captivated me to keep reading and I finished the book within 4hrs. I really LOVE how the Author spins the plot and the ending is not what I expected. I really learned something through this book about Messinac Jews also. The book is Action Packed Suspense and Romance. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Suspense and Romance. GREAT BOOK!
