Christian Historical Romance is one of my favorite Genres. Misty M. Beller is a favorite author in this genre. Winning the Mountain Man's Love is Book 5 in the Brothers of Sapphire Ranch series. I have read this series from the beginning and I get excited when new books come out. 

I was excited to see that this is Jonah's story. Jonah is the second of the 6 Coulter Boys and in the last book was disappointed by a potential mate. Jonah has watched his brothers get married and he wants nothing more then to find his life long mate. Jonah is on a mission to find the Aunt of an 8yr old girls, Anna. Anna only knows her Aunts name is Patsy and she has red hair. He leaves the Ranch in Montana and sets out to find her. He eventually finds a woman matching the description, but her name is Patience Whitman. Jonah soon realizes that Patience is actually the Patsy he is looking for. He convinces her to come to Montana to meet her niece Anna. Jonah and Patience travel back to Montana and along the way get to know one another. Will Patience and Jonah have a relationship? Will Jonah find his life long mate? 

WOW, this book really tugged at my heart. Jonah really is a man of God and I LOVE how he is willing to help little Anna find her Aunt. Jonah and Patience both have past struggles, especially Patience. Patience was hesitant to trust Jonah because men have abused her in the past. I LOVE that Jonah is truly sincere and Patience sees that in him. I really enjoy seeing them trust in God throughout the getting to know you time and take things slow. This book is one of Faith, Family, Trust, and Second Chances.   I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys Christian Historical Romance. AMAZING BOOK!

During the 1870s, the Montana Territory was a wild, untamed land, attracting adventurers, miners, and those seeking to make their fortune by profiting from the miners. With the influx of men and money, gambling became a prevalent pastime and a lucrative business. Saloons, gaming houses, and even street corners became hubs for various games of chance, including poker, faro, and dice.

For many, gambling offered a quick path to wealth, but it also led to addiction, debt, and desperation. The lack of regulation and high stakes often attracted unsavory characters, making the gambling scene a dangerous and unpredictable world.

Women like Patience, who found themselves caught up in this world, faced even greater challenges. They were often viewed as mere entertainers or worse, and their involvement in gambling was seen as a mark of moral failure.
