I really enjoy reading books that are a part of a series. Tangled Lives by Carol McClain is Book 3 in the Treasure Lives series. I have read the first 2 books in this series and I am excited to have read this one also. 

Crystal and Roxie are sisters and they are very close.  Crystal has suffered from paralysis since childhood and Roxie has fear of rejection due to Childhood Rejections. The sisters are persuing differnt careers and support each others dreams. They both believe they will never find someone to love them. The inevitable happens and both girls are interested in the same man. Thing get even more "Tangled" when they find their biological Grandmother and their past resurfaces with troubling info which could threaten their dreams and future. Will they both be successful in launching their desired careers? Who will get the Guy that they both adore? 

I was mesmerized by the Storyline from the very first chapter.  I started reading this book and could not put it down.  I truly admired the girls courage and strength after a rough childhood. I also LOVE their BOND is so strong. The author does a great job at "untangling" the sisters life, both present and past. I LOVED how they handled the fact that they both wanted the same guy. This book is one of Trusting God's plan and that God has made us who we are! I truly enjoyed this book. WONDERFUL BOOK!

Carol McClain is the award-winning author of five novels dealing with real people facing real problems. A fifth book will be out next summer.

She is a consummate encourager, and no matter what your faith might look like, you will find compassion, humor and wisdom in her complexly layered, but ultimately readable work.
