Amish Fiction is my Ultimate Favorite Genre of books to read. Home from the Storm by Laurel Blount is Book 4 in the Johns Mill Amish Romance Series. I have read the first 2 books in this series and I am honored to have read this book also. 

I have read MANY Amish Fiction Books and I have to say this storyline is unique to me.   I have never read a book where an Amish husband abandons his new wife. Caleb Hochstedler was newly married to Rhoda Lambright when he left the Amish faith. He returned 2yrs later after finding the Killer who murdered his parents was right in John Mills community. I truly LOVE that Rhonda was able to take him back in the home, mainly due to the Amish Faith requiring it, but I also believe she still had love for him. Caleb being so happy to discover he is father to Twins is heartwarming. I LOVE that Caleb wants to be back and protect his Wife and Children from possible danger until the Killer is caught.   The book is one of Second Chances and Forgiveness. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who enjoys Amish Fiction. WONDERFUL Book!
