I enjoy Christian Romance novels and add in a Western theme and I am all in. Broken Bondage by Carmen Peone is Book 2 in the Seven Tine Ranch series. I did not read Book 1, but the synposis and book cover intrigued me into reading Book 2. 

Rita Runninghorse knew she needed to run far away from the man she is engaged to. She knows he is WRONG for her. She heads to a Ranch that provides a safe place for women, only to find it closed for the next month. Robert Elliot finds Rita asleep in one of his horses Stalls. He is quite shocked, yet wants to help her. He knows he has goals of going Pro with the Rodeo and needs to concentrate on the upcoming National Finals. Rita worries when her fiance discovers where she is hiding and decides to go on the Road with Robert. Will Rita's Finance give up and leave her be? Will there be a Romance between Rita and Robert? 

WOW, this book is definitely a page-turner and a "can't put down" book! I was very engrossed in the book from the very first Chapter. Rita was in an abusive relationship and her courage to RUN was amazing. I was glad to see her get to a safe place. Robert is a wonderful man and I truly LOVE his care and concern for Rita. Robert and Rita begin to lean on God for wisdom in this situation and I really LOVE the Faith in this book. The Author does a wonderful job at addressing the Domestic Violence in this book in a sensitive manner. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Romance. GREAT BOOK!
