Amish Fiction is one of my favorite Genres to read. Molly Jebber has quickly become a favorite Amish book author of mine. Rachel's Decision is the Book 6 in the Amish Charm Bakery series. I have read a couple of the first books in this series and I always get excited when the newest book comes out.

The setting is Amish Charm Bakery in Ohio in 1915. Rachael Schlabach enjoys working at the Bakery, but she still has dreams of getting married. She has her eyes on a local guy, Nathan, who is a widower with 2 young children. Rachel would love to be able to raise the 2 children and Nathan is a kind guy. Caleb Yutzy is a single man who moves to town. He immediately takes a liking to Rachel and Rachel is interested in him. The 2 begin a courtship and have a conversation when Caleb expresses how much he would love to be a Dad. Rachel has to be truthful and let him know that she cannot bear children. Caleb claim he loves her so much so he is okay with that. Rachel is surprised when Nathan approaches her about dating her after being in a relationship with Caleb for some time. Who will Rachel choose? Will Rachel regret her decision or will there be a happy life?

I enjoyed this book from the time I opened the book until I finished it. Rachel is a kind hearted and loving character. She has a dream to be married, but due to an accident she feels that men won't want to marry her because of her limp and her inability to bear children. My favorite character in this book was Caleb. He puts others before him, especially when Rachel tells him she cannot give him "kinner".
The book is about Faith, Family, and Second Chances at LOVE. The story-line was easy to follow and enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend this book to any reader of Amish Fiction. GREAT book!

Rachael’s Decision

I loved writing this series in a bakery setting, except I gained weight just reading about the desserts and found myself craving cakes and cookies. Rachael has an interesting past, and she has a loving heart. You’ll want to laugh with her and root for her. You’ll love Caleb, and you’ll root for him, too! This book has twists, turns, and it’s full of surprises.

The most fun I have is meeting readers like you who I consider friends through social media, at conferences, and that I’ve met at Amish talks, Amish Girlfriend Getaways, and many other places. If I wasn’t writing and speaking, I would’ve never meet people like you. That’s what keeps me writing. Thank you so much for your interest in my books.

My daughter, Misty, had a little girl, Jolene, and she’s keeping me busy, and she’s so much fun. Some days, she on my lap and we write together! Thank you for joining me here today! I hope you’ll connect with me on Facebook!
