I have been a fan of author Kathleen Fuller for many years. I was excited to learn of her book, Hooked on You, which is Book 1 in the Maple Falls series.

Riley McAllister has made a life for herself in New York City, as she has lived there for about 10 yrs. Living in New York was a change for her, as she is from a Small Town, Maple Falls. She doesn't foresee herself returning to Maple Falls. That changes when her Grandma breaks her leg and is in need of someone to assist her. Riley returns to Maple Falls to run her Grandma's Yarn store and look after Grandma as she recovers. Hayden Price, a high school friend of Riley's, has also recently returned to Maple Falls. He was a Baseball Player, but was injured and can no longer play Baseball. He is now working at his Dad's Hardware Store in town. Hayden and others in town reach out to Riley, but she doesn't want to befriend to many as her plan is to return to New York in the future. Riley finally has a breakthrough and starts friendships in Maple Falls, including with Hayden. Hayden knows Maple Falls is HOME for him. Will Hayden convince Riley to stay in Maple Falls? Will their Friendship turn to something more?

Kathleen Fuller is such a GREAT Author and Hooked on You is an EXTREMELY good book. Hooked on You is the first book by Kathleen Fuller that I have read that isn't Amish Fiction. I really like how 2 High School friends, who lived so differently and wanted different things in life, come back HOME and start a friendship. Hooked on You is a book about healing past relationships, new beginnings and a bit of Romance. I highly recommend this book!
