Christian Women's Contemporary Romance novels are a genre that I truly enjoy. A Girl’s Guide to Having it All by Leslie Kirby DeVooght is Book 3 in the Magnolia Bluff series. Leslie Kirby DeVooght is a "new to me author" and the synopsis of the book intrigued me to the read this book. 

WOW, the story started strong and reeled me in from beginning to end. Carleigh Chastain is the main character in this book. She has lived life focused on her career and now as she is about to celebrate her 35th Birthday, she sees that she has neglected relationships around her. Carleigh really goes into panic mode when her High School Friend informs her he is ready to propose to a girl he had only been dating a few months. The way she drops everything to go to Magnolia Bluff, GA to convince Lawson that he might be making a big mistake. Lawson and Carleigh made a "pact" in High School and now she realizes that she hasn't been there for Lawson as she said she would. The realization that Carleigh might have thought she had everything planned out for her career, that she was missing out on keeping up with friendships, especially one with her friend Spencer. Spencer has come to the point in their longtime friendship where he wants something more, yet Carleigh doesn't see that yet. I really LOVE that this storyline really makes Carleigh analyze her priorities in life and refocus on her relationships with friends, especially make friends and also her relationship with God. The book is about Friends, Faith and Focus. God plans are greater than our own plans and when we turn our priorities to God plans, that is where True Success is. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Contemporary Romance. GREAT BOOK!
