Christian Historical Romance is one of my favorite genres. Texas Reclaimed by Sherry Shindelar is Book 3 in the Lone Star Redemption Series. I have been enjoying this series from the beginning and I look forward to each new book. 

WOW, this book reeled me in from the beginning. The setting of the book is 1866 in Texas, after the Civil War . The 2 main characters of this book are Cora Scott and Ben McKenzie . The storyline really grasped by interest immediately. Cora is doing her best to raise her 9 year old half brother and save the Family Ranch from being taken from them. Cora really wants to be independent in life, although she realizes that she is deeper into financial ruin due to a Scamming Creditor. Ben McKenzie promised his best friends, Cora's late brother, that he would take care of Cora and Charlie. Ben keeps his promise and then realizes that he is falling for Cora. The storyline sees Cora and Ben still struggling with life after War. There are many twists and turns in this book, yet there are many happy moments   The book is about Trusting the Lord, Accepting Blessings when our heart doesn't want to, staying strong through the storms of life, and Romance. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Historical Romance! AMAZING BOOK!
