Christian Romance is a favorite genre that I have enjoyed for many years. The Home Team by Dave Pratt is Book 1 in the Home Team series. Dave Pratt is a new to me author and I was excited to read this book.

WOW, this book starts off with lots of action and I was drawn into the storyline immediately. The main characters in this book are Sam Anthem and Consuelo Zamora. Sam is a secret missions worker for the US Government and Consuelo is a Missionary Nurse who got entangled with some Drug Lords from South America. Consuelo is rescued by Sam and she is excited to start a new job in Washington State. The excitement is short lived when danger comes lurking and following Consuelo in her new place. I really LOVE that Sam is willing to protect Consuelo, even if it means danger for himself. The changing moment in the book is when Sam meets a former Solider who is now a Pastor. Sam finds faith in God and he realizes that he isn't just protecting Consuelo for a job, but he has feelings for her. The book has many twists and turns and keeps me intrigued. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Romance with a Military. GREAT BOOK!
