Sending Emma back to Whispering Creek may unknowingly place the woman he's come to love in danger.

Contemporary Christian Romance books are one of my favorite genres to read. Escape to Whispering Creek by Barbara M. Britton is the most recent novel in this genre that I had the opportunity to read. I am excited to be back in Whispering Creek as I read the first book, Christmas at Whispering Creek. 

I was so excited to read this book that I dove right in as soon as I received it. I was glad that it was a day where I had plenty of time to read, as I didn't put it down until I was done.  Emma Uranova and Wade Donoven are the main characters in the book. Emma left a job that she really loved due to her boss being involved in possible theft. Emma first goes to Whispering Creek, TN to get away from the drama.  Emma gets hired by Wade to help him run his business office, in Nashville,  as he recuperates from surgery.  I really enjoyed the storyline and how Wade and Emma grew a business relationship into a relationship of friendship and love. I also LOVE how they rely on God and their faith when it is discovered that Emma has been keeping the previous boss's scandal in her Backpack. Wade really gives Emma grace as he knows his feelings for her are deep. Wade could have given up on Emma, but the relationship between the pair is so amazing and Wade wants to protect Emma from danger due to the scandal. I really hope there will another book set in Whispering Creek as I am hooked on these Romance stories in the Small town. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary Christian Romance books. WONDERFUL BOOK!
