Celebrate Lit Blog Tour: Grace on the Mountain Trail by Misty M. Beller

Book: Grace in the Mountain Trail

Author: Misty M. Beller

Genre:Christian Historical Romance

Release date: July 12, 2022

This epic journey is her last hope to find her lost brother—the only family she has left.

When Lola Carson’s father died, his last words spoke of a half-brother she’d never known about. And now, to claim her own inheritance and come to terms with her father’s secret life, she must find this mysterious man—whose last known whereabouts are somewhere west of the wild Rocky Mountains. After hiring family friends to accompany her on the trek, she sets out for a wilderness few white women have ever seen. She doesn’t expect the majestic peaks to captivate her so, nor the half-dead brave they find on one of the slopes.

White Owl left his village and his broken heart behind when he set out for a fresh start. His newfound faith is the one anchor in his life. He’s desperate to learn more about the God he’s committed to follow and become an interpreter for the missionaries who led him to faith. But he barely starts his journey when a hunting accident nearly kills him. The woman who discovers him in the midst of his fevered delirium seems to be a gift from above.

But the more White Owl learns about Lola’s companions and her dangerous quest, the more he realizes his own calling is clear—to take her safely to her brother. The question is, will he have to sacrifice more than his heart to accomplish that goal?

From a USA Today bestselling author comes another epic journey through breathless landscapes and adventure so intense, lives will never be the same.

Grace on the Mountain Trail is the 8th book in the Call of the Rockies series by Misty M. Beller. I have not read all the books in this series, but I have read a few of them before this one. I do like to read Series books, although this series is great as a Standalone book. I have never been lost when reading books out of order in this series.

Lola Carson is shocked to learn that she has a half-brother she never knew about. Her Dad revealed this info on his death bed. Lola now is on a mission to find the man her Dad spoke about and the only info she has is that he lives West of the Rocky Mountains. Finding her brother is something she needs to do in order to gain her inheritance. She gathers some family friends together to make the trek West to the Rocky Mountains. She did not anticipate all the adventures that awaited her, especially not the discovery of an Indian man half dead on Mountains.  White Owl had left his village to start life anew, after discovering his new Faith in God. He had not gotten far when a hunting accident left him fighting for his life on the Mountains. Lola discovers him and she and her crew decide they need to help him. White Owl and Lola begin to communicate about Lola's journey and White Owl is more than convinced he has a mission to help Lola reach her brother and he is determined to lead her to her brother. Will Lola find her brother within the one year she has to find him? Will White Owl and Lola become life-long friends?

WOW, Misty M. Beller has written another GREAT book! I have become a fan of Misty M. Beller in the past few years and I am always excited to read her books. Misty Beller does a GREAT job at capturing the reader and keeping the reader intrigued by the wonderful storyline. White Owl was my favorite character in the book. His newfound faith in God really showed throughout the book and even touched Lola's heart. Her heart of the mission changed through White Owl encouraging her to get right with God. I LOVE how the friendship evolved between Lola and White Owl. The book is also Faith-based and the Gospel is clearly represented throughout the book. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Historical Fiction! I look forward to reading future books in this wonderful series. FANTASTIC BOOK!
