Have you been hurt? Are you hounded by turbulent feelings and looping thoughts? Do you know you need to forgive but aren't sure where to begin?

Captive Set Free is a lamppost along the path of healing, offering engaging stories and examples, explaining how forgiveness fits into our spiritual DNA, and examining mindsets that make forgiving easier or harder. In this book, you'll learn how to

 - take concrete steps to forgive;

- be sure forgiveness has taken hold in your heart; and

 - guard your spirit from bitterness, both now and in the future.

If you're tired of being imprisoned by pain and toxicity and want to step into the free and abundant life Jesus has planned for His children, this book is for you.

I really enjoy reading Non-Fiction books are they are usually very insightful and encouraging. Captive Set Free by Valerie Limmer is the most recent Non-Fiction book that I have read.

We have all been hurt by someone and many have trouble with Forgiveness. Forgiveness is many times the one thing that prevents us from moving forward, but it is also the one thing that many of us don't know how to forgive. Valerie Limmer has written Captive FREE to show those who are suffering from Hurt and struggling with forgiveness, how to be able to move forward with forgiveness. The book is filled with Scripture-based info that encourages the reader in learning to open our hearts to be able to forgive those who have been toxic and hurtful towards us.

I personally have dealt with many Toxic People in my life. I truly struggle with being able to Forgive them and move on. I was VERY encouraged while reading this book. I have always believed that we can forgive a person and not have to have a relationship with them in the future. Valerie was very correct when she says that Forgiveness is a process, but as long as we harbor Bitterness toward someone we will have our own issues. I have found for myself that I get anxious and have a hardened heart when I think about that person or situation. Forgiveness helps us draw closer to God and helps us through our own issues. I believe Captive Set FREE is a very encouraging book and HIGHLY Recommend it to anyone who needs to be FREE! GREAT BOOK!

How do come up with your book ideas?

Valerie Limmer said... Best Blogger Tips

@traciem I usually start to notice that I've got loads of thoughts and ideas that seem to circle around a particular topic. When I realize this, I open a new file where I start to collect point form notes on all of my thoughts. (This happens over the course of 1-3 years.) When I finally have 15-20 pages of point-form notes, I know I have enough ideas to write a book on that topic, so then I do!

Thank you all for your kind comments. If you end up reading Captive Set Free: How to Find Freedom Through Forgiving, please know that I would be honoured to talk with you about any questions that might crop up. After this week, I’ll probably check back here once or twice more, but after that the best way to reach me would be through the contact form on my website ( May you each experience Jesus’ peace and healing on your own journeys of forgiveness.
