The Grocery Budget Challenge really needs to do better next month, as this first month we started off doing well, but sorta slacked lately. I am so ready for holiday grocery sales so that I can stock up on a few items and save money while doing so. I know Potatoes are going on sale soon and I found a recipe I am going to try this week and if it turns out well we will for sure do some freezer stock. Homemade Frozen Hashbrowns, is one of those ideas that you say "Why didn't I think of that?"I have been scouring the internet and other resources to really try to get a grasp on the grocery budget while trying to feed 3 growing boys.
Here is our menu plan for this week:

I'm also looking forward to the lower prices. I want to purchase a couple of hams and turkey breasts to put in the freezer. I actually saw a ham at Albertson's, asked my son to grab it but he replied, "Mom, it's over $40"! He immediately put it back!
Have an amazing week. Looks like there's going to be some good eating at your home this week!
Just letting you know that I have given your blog an award. You can pick it up on my blog on Friday October 28th!
