LitFuse Blog Tour: RoseMary Cottage by Collen Coble

About the Book:

Amy came to Rosemary Cottage to grieve, to heal, maybe even find love. But there's a deadly undertow of secrets around Hope Island . . .

The charming Rosemary Cottage on the beach offers Amy Lange respite she needs to mourn her brother, Ben. She's even thinking of moving her midwife practice to the Outer Banks community. It's always been a refuge for her and her family. She also wants to investigate Ben's disappearance at sea. Everyone blames a surfing accident, but Amy has reason to wonder.

Coast Guard officer Curtis Ireland has lost a sibling too. His sister, Gina, was run down by a boat, leaving him to raise her infant daughter. If anyone knew who little Raine's father was, Curtis could lose his beloved niece. Yet he can't help being drawn to Hope Beach's new midwife, Amy. He even agrees to help her investigate what happened to both Ben and Gina.

Can two grieving people with secrets find healing on beautiful Hope Island? Or will their quest for truth set them at odds with each other . . . and with those who will go to any length to keep hidden things hidden?

My Thoughts and Review:

I have been a fan of Colleen Coble for awhile and I LOVE her style of writing. RoseMary Cottage did not disappoint. The book is very intriguing with all the mystery and secrets surrounding Amy and Curtis. Colleen Coble writes the story to keep the reader so focused and wanting to keep reading to see what happens next. I was fascinated by the many twists and turns in the book, so many unexpected outcomes. I LOVE how Colleen Coble has written RoseMary Cottage in the style of Romance, yet Mystery and Suspense. The combination of the 2 genres are really spectular.

RoseMary Cottage is Book 2 in the Hope Beach series. I did not read Book 1, TideWater Inn, but I felt that I followed along quite well. In my opinion, Rosemary Cottage works well as a Stand Alone novel also. I really enjoyed how Amy and Curtis went through betrayal, love, healing and forgiveness to uncover the secrets that both were hiding. Though the book is fiction, the process that Amy and Curtis went through is REAL for so many in their own lives.

I give RoseMary Cottage 5 out of 5 Stars! An EXCELLENT Read!
