The setting is 1940 in South Carolina. The time period of World War 2. The characters of the book, Abby and Harvey, form a romantic relationship and then Harvey is sent to fight in War. The story then becomes about enduring a long distance relationship during War Time.

The story is intriguing at times, especially when Abby and Harvey are enduring their love relationship long distance. The book is geared towards Young Adult, but due to some of the Romantic content, I would think it would be mature teens and College aged students.

I did enjoy the book and the Author, Allison Wells, is a great new author. Good book for those who enjoy the War time stories and for a good reading of history while reading leisurely.

Allison Wells is a new author, but for the most part she’s a Southern wife and mother. With four active children, she spends most of her time in the car, but when she can she loves to sit down and read or write. Allison is a graduate of Clemson University in the beautiful foothills of South Carolina and she still lives close enough to hear football games on Saturdays.

I am a "worry wart" and constantly have the "What if's" running through my head. I allow anxiety to get the best of me quite often and sometimes it is debilating. I read A Bright Tomorrow with great interest and it is OUTSTANDING! The Scripture and Biblical Truth in the book are very convicting.

I become so worried about the future, that I forget that God is always ahead of us with his plan. Jared Mellinger writing and how it lays out the book is just life changing for me. I have to allow God to be in control and not worry so much about what lies ahead and the days will be so much brighter.

A Bright Tomorrow is a GREAT book for those who want hope for the future and for those who want to have a life with less fear and lay your burdens at his feet!

The story is very interesting and keeps the reader very engaged. I don't think I have ever read a fictional book that had a strong Scripture message throughout and I love the book

I have been a fan of C.S. Lewis for a long while, since my Teen years. I was really excited to be able to read this book.

Becoming Mrs. Lewis is a fictional novel but it really seems like it could be a true to life story. I was immediately drawn into the story of "Joy and Jack" and their PenPal friendship. Joy's writings to Jack would lead to a deeper story and eventually to LOVE for each. The 2 had a common interest in that they were both accomplished writers and their letters really showed that deep interest of writing. I really enjoyed reading about how their meeting each other for the first time was not by accident, but very intentional through Joy's determination. LOVE will sure make you do amazing things!

I really enjoy Historical Fiction as it takes me back in time and I also feel that I am learning something as I read. Becoming Mrs. Lewis really taught me a LOT. Patti Callahan is an AMAZING writer and really knows how to keep the readers interest at all times! GREAT BOOK!
