Christian Fiction is always an intriguing genre. Vanished by Dr. David Jeremiah  with Sam O'Neal is the most recent book in this genre that I have read. Dr. David Jeremiah has written many books and this is Book 1 in The Vanished Series. 

I really wanted to read this book as I really have an interest in the End Times. The main character in this book is John "Haggs" Haggerty, a special Military unit Leader. He is a part of a special Task Force, Potential Pandemics. I found the book to be fast paced and also combines his work life and his personal life. The "Work Life" story has a lot of action and things happening in the world. Just as when the Rapture happens , the world is having Plagues, Natural Disasters and more. It doesn't mean the Rapture is here, but it sure seems like it could be soon. The Personal side of this story is that John is Divorced and is trying to navigate the fact that he feels his relationship with is grown daughter needs to be worked on as he doesn't want to desert her. He also is analyzing where he went wrong in his marriage. I really enjoyed this book and the ending was just amazing. The book really makes a person reflect on their own life and what is happening in the World now. I am looking forward to future books in this series. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Fiction books that focus on the End Times. GREAT BOOK!
