I truly love Amish Fiction books and Tricia Goyer is one of my favorite authors. I was excited to read her newest book, Beyond the Gray Mountains, which is Book 1 in the Big Sky Amish series. 

WOW, this book is AMAZING! The book is a bit different from other Amish Fiction books as it is one of the first that I have read that has a former Amish Woman and her plans to marry an English man. Marianna Sommer is such an independent woman who never thought she would leave the Amish Community, but she is excited about her future with Ben Stone. Ben happens to be a part of a Rock Band and he is a man of Values. I LOVE that Marianna doesn't allow the opinions of her family to determine what she will do. Marianna sees that Ben is a Christian Man and that really allows her to respect him and his career. I enjoyed the Authors description of the Montana area and the Skies in Montana. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Amish Fiction and Christian Fiction. GREAT BOOK!
