Christmas at Whispering Creek JustRead Blog Tour

Welcome to the Blog Tour for Christmas at Whispering Creek by Barbara M. Britton, hosted by JustRead Publicity Tours!

Christmas at Whispering Creek Title: Christmas at Whispering Creek
Author: Barbara M. Britton
Publisher: Pelican Book Group-White Rose
Release Date: November 30, 2022
Genre: Christian Contemporary Romance

All Samantha Williams wants is to use her teaching degree to instruct a classroom of second graders. With a breast cancer diagnosis at the age of twenty-three, and failed reconstruction surgery, Sam finds herself without a job and temporarily living with her parents. This isn’t the life Sam expected. When a family friend dies and leaves Sam a house and land in Whispering Creek, Tennessee, Sam must decide if leaving Wisconsin for Southern living is in her lesson plans.

Nashville native, Cole Donoven, left his family’s electrical business to write country music. When Cole’s song writing partner and girlfriend dumps him for a country music star, Cole abandons Nashville to hold up in Whispering Creek and compose one more song. The last thing Cole expects to find in the sleepy small town is a deceased friend, estate squabbles, and a Northern beauty. Will the chaos in Whispering Creek help create a bestselling song for Cole and possibly help him find a life-long collaborator?

Christmas Themed Romance books are one of my favorite genres to read. Christmas at Whispering Creek by Barbara M. Britton is the latest Christmas-themed book that I have read.

Samantha Williams has been going through some rough times in life. She is a Breast Cancer Survivor, but during her Cancer Treatment, she lost her job and her boyfriend. She has been living back at home with her parents in her hometown in Wisconsin. She is quite surprised when she finds out she has inherited a house in Whispering Creek, Tennessee from her "adopted" Grandpa Ted. The house comes with lots of land. Cole Donoven is a songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. He was just dumped by his long-time girlfriend and is feeling sad. Cole decides to head to Whispering Creek to visit his friend Ted and do some Songwriting. He was shocked to learn that his friend Ted has passed away and is instead greeted by Samantha Williams who is now living in the house. The pair get to know each other well as they work together to clean up the property when a Tornado causes damage. Will there be a romance between Samantha and Cole? Will the pair fulfill their individual goals and dreams?

WOW, what a wonderful story. I was reeled into the storyline from the very first chapter. I really LOVE how the author touches on being a Breast Cancer Survivor and all the after struggles of Cancer. Samantha is a strong and independent woman who really misses being a teacher and has found happiness in Tennessee. Cole is an amazing character in the book and I LOVE how he pitches in to help on the Property for Tornado cleanup and encourages Samantha. He is thrust into Chaos when he arrives in Whispering Creek, but he handles it quite well. I LOVE seeing the relationship between Samantha and Cole grow over time. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary Christian Romance books. FANTASTIC BOOK!

I cannot imagine Cole's shock when he learns of his friend's death. I look forward to reading this story of how the characters overcome and grow individually and as an eventual couple.

Hi Bea. I tried to make Whispering Creek a place of new beginnings with kindhearted people. Sam and Cole have enough adventures on their own. Thanks for joining us.
