The Cover of this book, Train to Laramie by Andrew Roth, is what
peaked my curiosity and interest in reading it. I am very glad I
"judged a book" by it's cover, because I liked the Book as
much as the Cover.

Tess lives in a small house with her Mom and Stepfather. She
doesn't get along with her Stepfather. Tess finally gets enough
courage to flee from her Abusive Stepfather. She boards a train,
only to discover she is on the wrong one and it is heading in the
wrong direction. Her original destination was Chicago, but she
ends up in a small town called Laramie. The Town appears to be
a town of Labor workers and friendly. Well, Tess finds out danger
awaits from Outlaws. She meets fellow town person, Brett Calloway,
and he becomes her protector. Tess and Brett from a wonderful
friendship and Tess feels like she is liking him for more then a
friend. Tess is really in danger when her StepFather discovers
where she is and comes to Laramie. Will Brett fully protect her
from her Evil Stepfather? Does the friendship deepen to a
romantic relationship?

I am just WOWED by the writing style and the storyline of this
book. I really saw the message of "Gods plans are Greater then
our Own Plans" ring true in this book. Tess did not go in wrong
direction on the wrong train, she went exactly where God was
leading her. She didn't know it at the time, but I can see in the
book that she saw that later. Andrew Roth is a new to me author,
but I definitely want to read more of his books.  GREAT BOOK!

More from Andrew

The American West has always fascinated me with ruggedly beautiful landscapes and the indomitable spirit of the pioneers.  When building the Transcontinental Railroad, nothing could stop the people from their goal. This innovation and tenacity has shaped our soul, our character as a nation. This deep sense of perseverance encourages me through the tough times we face today.

Dedication
