Christian Women's Fiction is a genre that I truly enjoy. Escape to Passignano by Normandie Fischer is Book 7 in the Carolina Coast Series. It has been awhile since Book 6 in this series, which I did read Book 6. I would recommend reading the books in order, but this was also great as a Standalone novel.

WOW, this book was well worth the wait, the last book in this series was released over 3 years ago. The setting in the book takes us from the Carolina Coast to Italy. The main characters are Sophia, Dr. Luca and Noemi. Sophia has kept a promise to her late husband and traveled ot his Hometown in Italy. She is there to discover all that he told her about his Hometown. Sophia is enjoying the visit to Italy and then a small girl, Noemi, begins interreacting with Sophia and Sophia is very shocked at what the girl knows. It seems that Noemi has a connection to Sophia's late husband. Dr. Luca has been struggling for over 3 years with grief for his late wife and his older children. Noemi is in the custody of Dr. Luca's sister. The storyline takes many twists and turns when Noemi is "kidnapped" by the Aunt and they seem to disappear. I truly LOVE how Sophia and Luca immediately take action and begin trying to find Noemi. Sophia now knows that the stories and other things that Noemi has told her are linked to the disappearance and they begin to use those clues. I really LOVE that Sophia and Luca rely on God to get them through the hunt for Noemi. They know that some of the things Noemi was referencing was of demonic actions, possibly by the Aunt. The book is one of Faith, Family, Life Struggles and growth in faith. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Women Fiction! WONDERFUL BOOK!

Normandie Fischer had the best of several worlds: a Southern heritage, access to schooling in the DC area (which meant lots of cultural adventures), and several years of sculpture studies in Italy. It might have been better for her if she'd used all these opportunities more wisely, but it's possible that the imperfect and the unwise also add fodder for the artist and the writer.

She writes Christian and Southern fiction as well as romantic suspense from her waterfront base in coastal North Carolina, where she lives with her husband, their two dogs, and a once-feral cat. If only her children and grandchildren lived within hailing distance, life would be just about perfect.
