And finally, just as she becomes a familiar face to the locals, the FBI and US Marshals show up, making trouble. She wants them to do their job and leave, and so she becomes their local liaison. But when someone turns up dead, she wants to be the one calling the investigative shots. Instead, she’s partnered with the admittedly charming, but overly skeptical, marshal who thinks her faith is nothing but fantasy. With Perry’s constant questions and distracting lure, she needs to keep her head clear enough to see the danger creeping her way—or she’ll end up losing everything.  

Christian Suspense Romance novels are one of my favorite genres. Frittered Moments by Allison Pearl is book 5 in the Love and Danger in St. Claire series. I have been enjoying this series from the very first book and have been "patiently" awaiting the release of this book! 

WOW, another GREAT book in this series! I feel like each book makes the series even better. The 2 main characters in this book are Deputy US Marshal, Perry Cole and Deputy Sheriff Erin Kaminski. Deputy Perry is back in St. Claire to hunt down someone who has targeted for many years. The FBI has come with Deputy Perry. His plans to capture the most wanted criminal are put on hold when someone is murdered in St. Claire. Deputy Erin has just been assigned the job as Deputy in St. Claire. She really loves her job and knows she was meant to be in St. Claire. The murder happens and she is paired with Deputy Perry to help find and capture the killer. Danger lurks as they work the case and they are trying to stay safe. I really LOVE who Perry and Erin work together and start to realize they have feelings for one another. They soon realize that they will have to trust God not only for the investigation and to capture the killer, but to trust God for direction in a relationship.  The book is faith filled with many twists and turns in the Suspense and Mystery of the story.  I didn't want the book to end, well I kind of did so I could see the Mystery solved. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Romantic Suspense novels! FABULOUS BOOK!
