I really enjoy Children's books and reading to Children. War at the Ice Cream Store 2: Rocky Road vs The Sundae Storm by Cheryl DaVeiga is the latest book in this genre that I got to share with little ones. This is the first book in this series that I have read.

WOW, this is a really fun loving and interesting book for the young ones. The story focuses on the Ice Cream store that has experienced some damage due to a storm. The Characters (named after Ice Cream Flavors) are worried that no Ice Cream will be served for the first time on a Sunday. The characters are VERY determined to make sure the Ice Cream Store opens to serve the Ice Cream to the customers. I really enjoyed this book, as did the little ones I read it to. The character names and the fun they all had at the Ice Cream Store had me laughing throughout. The book really teaches about Teamwork and the importance of working together. Ice Cream is a favorite Summertime Treat and kids really love Ice Cream. The book was fun, humorous, entertaining and most of all life lesson applied. I HIGHLY recommend this book to families with young ones, especially those that enjoy Ice Cream! GREAT BOOK!
